General terms and conditions:

Preamble

1. Gregor E. Jank and/or the free-lance translators/proofreaders entrusted by him undertake to conscientiously carry out all accepted translations and linguistic services and not to disclose any sensitive and confidential information contained in the text(s) to other persons.

2. The general terms and conditions apply to the entire business transactions between Gregor E. Jank and/or the free-lance translators/proofreaders entrusted by him and the client.

Agreement

1. An agreement is reached as soon as the text to be worked on is sent by the client and accepted by Gregor E. Jank.

2. Gregor E. Jank and/or the free-lance translators/proofreaders entrusted by him are not liable for delay and/or mistakes resulting from incomplete, incorrect or unclear placing of order and/or ambiguous/wrong wording in the source text.

3. The client provides the source text by e-mail, fax or conventional mail.

Redelivery

1. The client receives his/her texts by e-mail of fax. If the client requests delivery by post, he/she shall assume the additional cost.

2. Gregor E. Jank and/or the free-lance translators/proofreaders entrusted by him are not liable for delay and/or damage resulting from transport/redelivery.

Payment

Payment terms are net 14 days from date of invoice. The amount invoiced has to be paid to the bank account given.

Liability

The client has to complain within 7 days.
